I heard that Mane and Tail a shampoo with a picture of a horse on it helps hair grow faster. I don't know for sure, but that's what I was told. Also massaging your scalp and gently pulling on your hair as you shower. Lots of protein should do the trick as well.

no not really. horse shampoo makes your hair thicker and look healthier. If your cousin wants to grow her hair, I suggest she take in more protein. I had a condition early this year when my hair kept on falling. Doctor says it was due to stress. I went under treatment. After that, my doctor gave me take-home bottles of solutions and creams for my bald spots. She also suggested that I increase my protein intake. This will help with the process of stabilizing the regrowth of my hair. But if your cousin's weight conscious, or doesn't want to eat meat, try a vitamin supplement like Biotin. I'm not a big meat or chicken or pork eater so I don't get much protein. Also, shampoo and condition hair everyday especially if you are athletic or always doing activities. The dirt on the scalp build up at the end of the day. These dirt can cause clogging to the scalp pores and make your hair stop growing. Pantene works really well in my opinion. Avoid too much styling or stress to your hair. This can be also a factor for slow growth and make sure you avoid dry and split ends.

Supposedly there is a shampoo that makes your hair grow faster and stronger, originally made for horses but now also marketed to humans called Mane and Tail. You can find it at any retailer like Wal-mart or the grocery store.
