I had WMV 8 and it would only play the audio for video files (opened from the net or from files directly). Last night I downloaded WMV 11 and it worked but only for last night. I started up my computer today and it's audio only again - - aaarrghhh. Help!!!!

Normally, the new Microsoft Media Player go on the net to check your operating system liscence. If your liscence is not original, you should normally not be allowed to play any media.
If u'r got an original copy of u'r windows then the problem should not be, try to do a system restore just before you install media player and reinstall it.

sometimes there are glitches
it depends on what type of movie file you're trying to watch
