When Jeus taught his disciples to pray He taught them to say Our Father. In another place He used abba which is more intimate like daddy. I would use respect, but I think of Him as Father. Sometimes I pray on my knees, but since my knees are getting a little creeky I offen just sit on my couch where I'm comfortable. Some people in my church kneel while others sit or stand.

Nope, you can talk to Him how ever you feel comfortable. But, there may be times when you fall to your knees trembling before our Master. We must spend a good deal of time with Jesus, He helps us prepare to meet Our Father.

Not required. Generally I find that when I'm on my knees it reminds me that I'm speaking to the creator of the universe. Without His action on my behalf, I wouldn't be able to even approach Him.

After you accept Jesus Christ as God's Saviour, you can speak with God. I would humble myself before Him though.><>

You can talk to Him even while sitting in the chair and keeping your eyes closed. You can talk to Him everywhere even with your thoughts only. He hear your thoughts, Devil does not. : )
