I have three teeth that hurt. One is my eye tooth and the two on either side. It hurts constantly. There are no cavities, redness, and no changes. What could this be. I don't want to see the dentist$$$$.

Well.. for immediate pain relief you can put one or two pieces of ice in your mouth and hold them near the affected areas. You can also find an oral numbing agent gel product at your local pharmacy. As for going to the dentist, you really should go. I know it can be costly but if this is something serious the pain may become increasingly worse very soon. Trust me, you do not want to feel how bad tooth problems can get if left unchecked. Good luck!! =)

See about going to a dental school and the dental students will do the work for cheap, if that is your main concern, It is better to find out now and maybe there really is a cavity than to let it go and loose 1 to 3 teeth.

They could just be sensitive - if you live in a colder climate just the cold air or wind could affect them. Or they may have small cracks not visible to the naked eye which could allow food and other things to affect the tooth. You could use anbesol but I caution you not to use it too much or very often as it could burn your gums. Even though you would rather not you would probably be best to go to the dentist where an under laying cause can be exacted.

It sounds as tho you have have an abcess with one or more of those teeth. But without x-rays and an exam there is no way to tell. You can't neglect your teeth. They'll not do good to you. Go to the dentist

Do you grind your teeth? You could have stress fractures that make your teeth hurt. If so, try wearing a mouth guard at night, for a while.

Try a sensitive toothpaste. If that doesn't work, then you may have to go and see the dentist.
