i would go with a card from the store but you write something sweet inside of it.. or a home made... as long as it says something meaningful... a small teddy bear or something... with a single rose.... and you can add a chocolate bar.. aww thats soo sweet... maybe a cd with real good r&b songs.. but thats if she likes r&b.. everyone has different taste.. so best of luck!

Ok, I'm going to give you some insight, from a female perspective:
You must give her a card, along with whatever you get. Homemade is the best way to go, EVERYONE gets a storebought card, but only she will have a one-of-a-kind handmade card from you. Now that's romantic.
As for the gift, women love chocolate, it's a known fact. Get her chocolates AND a teddy bear... Perhaps a funny one that sings? A girl will appreciate your sense of humor.
Now, is there anything in general, that you've heard her mention that she likes, or wishes that she had? If you can afford it, get it for her, even if it's not a typical Valentine's Day gift.
Knowing that a guy has actually cared about what you've said and listened to you is an amazing feeling for a girl...
Just some tips, good luck :-)

When I was in Jr. High I had a big crush but since we didn't really know each other I would leave anonymous notes for him. I was so shy that I never got around to letting him know it was me. Anyways, if you really like this girl then send her a card from the store and a flower. Or if you've noticed that she's into stickers, pens, or even cute notepads you can also give her this. I don't recommend anything else, becuase you guys really don't know each other and you don't know how she'll respond. So play it safe and keep it simple. Good luck.

You have to know how to work the system. Home made card, though cute, could cause ridicule from a girl especially if she doesn't know you that well. I propose doing something sweet and simple. A card from a store with a small teddy bear or single small flower.

I am not in high school, but I would say a homemade card and a teddy bear. It shows that you are sensitive and thoughtful and just didn't go out and grab some average greeting card off the shelf that probably millions of other girls are getting too.

Choclates IF she likes eating, if she doesnt really, maybe a smaller box plus a card and 3 roses. I dont think everyones likes teddy bears but who gives? If theres one on sale, whats to lose? (ok maybe you could lose your teddy bear, btu its out or admiration right?) If you dotn want to spend too much money, make a homemade card from adobe photoshop or soemthing and go to the craft store to buy some glitter. Roses are AWSOME and all girls like em. Definetly get roses. THen you should get Choclates and if you are getting choclates OR roses, you just have to get a card, even if it says from your secret admirer. Make sure the girl doesnt freak out bc somethings "secret admirer" sounds freaky.

Any of those are great. I'd say roes for this girl though, just because they're romantic and pretty, and a card to go with it, either home made or bought from a store.

Something homemade sends a special message. For example, you could make a candy floral arrangement (take a bunch of chocolate bars - stick dowels into them and stick the dowels in a cute vase) or a curly que ribbon arrangement with balloons (kinda the same as the candy arrangement--except blow up balloons, tie to end of dowel, stick in vase then tie bunches and bunches of curly cue ribbon that you've curled with scissors). This will really send a message of interest--seeing you've taken time to go out and buy supplies then invested time in putting it together. Good luck!
