I have thin short hair and the static that seems to come with winter is causing a problem. Is there any way to help my hair obey the laws of gravity? Thanks in advance!

Two words: DYER SHEETS.

You know those sheets you put in the dryer to get the static out of your clothes? Run it a few times over your hair, and it'll take it RIGHT OUT. Plus, it doesn't make your hair greasy.. even makes your hair smell nicer!

Take my word for it!

I usually by static spray. The ones for your cars or clothes. Sure it's probably not good to do that but hey, IT WORKS!

Or if I don't have any static spray, I run a dryer sheet over my hair.

If you need a quick fix, when you put lotion on your hands, run it over your hair. This has saved me many times. Otherwise, get a small bottle of hair serum. My favorite is Biosilk Silk Therapy by Farouk. Use just a few drops and rub it between your palms before you smooth it through your hair, one bottle literally lasts years. The 2.5 oz. size fits in most purses, and as I have very dry hair and skin, it helps with both!

Usually hair gets static when you comb your hair really fast. Try to use a conditioner that straitens your hair so it is easier for you to comb.
