It's probably a good idea to wait until you know your kitten's personality before you name him. In addition to personality and looks, there are also other things to consider when deciding on your kitten's name; like how easy it will be for your kitten to learn his name, whether you will be embarrassed to call him by the name, etc.

This web page has a whole list of things to consider when naming a cat or kitten.

This is a popular question. Not sure without a picture. Just know, one thing that a lot of people don't know.....do not make it a long name. Cats only understand like the first syllabal anyway. For example, if you were to name your cat Patches......it really only comprehends.........Patch or Pat. So, people who name their cats names like Bocephus or something, the cat is really only recognizing Bo. They do come when called, but just like a dog, they recognize the beginning of their name. Hope this helps.

Ramesses
Adonis
Isis
Layla

If it's a boy, call is something like King George the 1st of ______ Castle (insert your last name) and just call him George, of course

Or like, Lady Periwinkle

Have fun with a name; remember it's going to be sticking with you for a long time.
