why would jesus exagerate that prayer "moves mountians," when it seems so contentious to say that you know god is answering prayers here on earth?

Really. I imagine the Donner party were very upset when they found out that prayer couldn't do that.

God is answering prayers,Jesus said Faith can move a mountain.

It does and HE didn't exaggerate. Just shows that u haven't moved any mountains. (Mountains do not always have trees and such on them. Some mountains are addictions or fears,etc.)
