Speaking after the Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed that agent Ignacio Ramos was assaulted by inmates in his Mississippi prison over the weekend, California Republican Rep. Dana Rohrabacher had a warning for the White House.

"I tell you, Mr. President, if these men -- especially after this assault -- are murdered in prison, if one of them lose their lives, there's going to be some sort of impeachment talk in Capitol Hill," he told a press conference in Washington D.C. Would Bush Actually Be Impeached ?

Bush cares nothing about these two great Mexican American border agents, he only cares about the illegals that are taking over this country breaking the law and getting away with it. He doesn't care about our legal citizens, just the illegal ones. I doubt that he would be impeached for that reason.

I think his inaction on the border as a whole, much less on these two agents who are being screwed over is disgraceful. However, the day the Republicans or Democrats try to impeach one of their own, thus hurting their re-election chances or loss of majority for a citizen is miniscle at best.

That is a moronic statement by Representative Dana R. No, that would not be grounds for impeachment. It was a bad choice for a televison show to make it known to the prison population that Ramos worked in law enforcement. The person who decided to do that is responsible for the beating, not Bush.

Impeachment no way, just an idle and stupid threat---under what conditions? To what end?, Maybe he needs to read up on Impeachment and find out what it is all about. After all Clinton was Impeached--what became of that---nothing!. It was just a terrible waste of time, money, and newspaper print.

I'm sincerely hoping that Rohrabacher meant what he said. I think it unfortunate that impeachment proceedings haven't already begun. Bush would look much better in a white straight jacket than the White House. It's about time we get someone in the White House who is for THE PEOPLE, rather than big corporations and illegal aliens! FREE AGENTS RAMOS AND COMPEAN!

Impeachment should already be a hot topic in Capitol Hill. Bush has turned his back on Border Patrol agents - "TREASON."

If he had any sense, he'd take the side of those who are protecting this country.

"Let's not forget that this is the same "justice department" that was going to extradite "Dog the Bounty Hunter" to Mexico, for "kidnapping" an American citizen who had been convicted of serial rape, and who was "hiding" in Mexico. I used quotes around the word "hiding," since everyone in both Mexican and US law enforcement knew where he was. But he was rich enough to buy off the mexican government, so he wouldn't be extradited. Of course, if Dog where handed back to the mexicans, he'd be dead."
