The church of George Carlin.

"So rather than be just another mindless religious robot, mindlessly and aimlessly and blindly believing that all of this is in the hands of some spooky incompetent father figure who doesn't give a ****, I decided to look around for something else to worship. Something I could really count on.

And immediately, I thought of the sun. Happened like that. Overnight I became a sun-worshipper. Well, not overnight, you can't see the sun at night. But first thing the next morning, I became a sun-worshipper. Several reasons. First of all, I can see the sun, okay? Unlike some other gods I could mention, I can actually see the sun. I'm big on that. If I can see something, I don't know, it kind of helps the credibility along, you know? So everyday I can see the sun, as it gives me everything I need; heat, light, food, flowers in the park, reflections on the lake, an occasional skin cancer, but hey. At least there are no crucifixions, and we're not setting people on fire simply because they don't agree with us.

Sun worship is fairly simple. There's no mystery, no miracles, no pageantry, no one asks for money, there are no songs to learn, and we don't have a special building where we all gather once a week to compare clothing. And the best thing about the sun, it never tells me I'm unworthy. Doesn't tell me I'm a bad person who needs to be saved. Hasn't said an unkind word. Treats me fine. So, I worship the sun. But, I don't pray to the sun. Know why? I wouldn't presume on our friendship. It's not polite."

Not that I know of. Worshiping Sol doesn't really require a church though, just go outside and bask in it's warmth. (And yes guys, there are some people out there that still do pray to and worship the Sun.)

You could also stop worshipping creation, and start worshiping the Creator. Jesus made everything, including the sun.

Worshiping creation, like the sun, is like worshiping a house, and ignoring the architect. Pretty silly.

Go to the source. Jesus is kind and loving, and He really desires to know you.

The solar is a element of the actual Universe. You and me are no longer the actual Universe yet are Senior to it. we are each and every, non-actual, immortal, religious Beings and not the actual human physique we seem at in a mirror. a great component to the themes people have is as a results of fact we've "agreed" with the actual Universe rules too a lot and forgot who we are as religious Beings. I doubt worshiping the actual Universe will help all of us Religiously or Spiritually and it relatively is barely extra contract. So, in my view, the fundamentals of R&S ought to contain you and me as religious Beings and the thank you to opposite this unbalanced contract...

HI Ike,
It is possible for you to worship the SON and join us as Christians. GOD sent HIS SON so that we would have an opportuinty to be among the saved of this earth. Study these scriptures and see what you think. To become a Christian:
1. We must HEAR GOD’s WORD. - Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
2. We are told to BELIEVE. - To the Prison guard in Acts 16:31 Paul and Silas said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."
3. We must REPENT (turn from) of our sins. - Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.
4. We are told to CONFESS CHRIST before men. - Matthew 10:32 "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.
5. We are to enter the waters and BE BAPTIZED. - Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
6. We are told to CONTINUE TO BE FAITHFUL until death. - Revelation 2:10b Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
Send me a note if you have questions. I am anxious to hear from you. Have a Great day.
