Seriously speaking? I have seen so many American Christians who feel that if you're not a Christian then you won't be saved. How can I convince them that it doesn't matter if I am not a Christian and I will still be saved? Yes, I am a Hindu and proud of it. I feel that if one was born a Christian and then leaves their faith, then they will go to hell and not be saved. However, if one is NOT a Christian FROM BIRTH, then what is the point in trying to enforce Christianity? Let them be Hindus. That is what I feel. What do you guys think?

Ah yes, it is quite interesting already. However, let me point out a few details so I can get better answers.

1) I am NOT in India presently but in USA.
2) I have been accused of stereotyping and I plead not guilty. I am in Texas A&M University, Commerce and almost half the population here tries to enforce the fact that if you are not with Christ, you go to hell. Hell, I saw a play last week that showed about how one goes to Hell if they don't accept Christ.

The answers I'm getting are very confusing and not to the point. Please give me specific answers.

Also, I have something to say to those who think Christians are being unnecessarily attacked in India or other East Asian countries. Tell me, how would you feel if somebody came up to you and said that what you have been practising in since your birth is wrong and that their religion is correct? Well, this is what Christians are doing in India so who can blame the poor Hindus?

Whether one is born as a Hindu or a Christian depends on where one was born and whom were the parents. There is one true Creator but false religions have at their heads false gods. nevertheless, Children can learn to help others, to give to others, to grow in spirit by giving away all the good they can, and that is what they were born for, and it is the way by which they will get into heaven. No matter the truth or falsehood they are taught if they can learn to be kind and gentle to other intead of frierce and hellish, they are using that teaching to prepare their own way into heaven where they can learn more and eventully find wonderful reward for it.

It doesn't matter what we say about you and other religions. Just read the Bible and it will tell you that if you are not a born again believer you are on your way to an eternaty without God. I would wish you would sit down and read an older version of the Bible that isn't messed up by people with obvious reasons and see for yourself what God says. It is you alone who will determine your destination. It doesn't matter what I think or say but I am going to tell you what God teaches. Do you expect anything different from me? I really want what is best for you I so tell you what I believe.

i dont know, maybe its just simply a NEED to call people to repentance.
I know there is a huge drug culture mixxed into the hindu religions of the world,
BUT, i also know that hindus have a GREATER Library (biblios) of Jesus, than christians have ever known about. i have also been taught that at least 2 Apostles visited the Asian Coast and there is more of a tradition of christianity throughout the world that are not called christian.

1.Chirstians believe that without Jesus, everyone is doomed. They think it's doing people a favour by telling them about Jesus, and they usually do so out of love.
2.You can't be born a Christian.It's a choice you make.

I know that there are quite a few Christian missionries and humanitarians in India, who are providing lots of care and support for the needy. Some of them are stupid, and try and force conversions,or deny food and care to those who will not convert.I sincerely want to say that those types are not representative of most care workers, and the majority of Christian care workers really do care the needy, and don't force conversions.

well thank God salvation is something everybody can have! You will go to hell without Jesus, but if your a christian it's not even being spared from hell it's about getting to live forever in peace with GOD! hindu's enforce their religion too! Truthfully i find Christianity answers more questions about the universe and man than any other religion.

I think that this is all a matter of perspective. I'm now hearing of Christians being attacked physically by over-zealous Hindus in other countries. So, it appears that each religion can become extremely zealous.

nobody can be a Christian from birth! This is a decision one must make after reaching the age to know what sin is.
As for Christians shoving our beliefs down Hindu's throats... I have been tormented by one of your ppl who keeps sending me email about your belief system!
I believe and know it to be true that if anyone dies without accepting Christ as their Savior (regardless of what religion their family is or what belief system they were "born" into) they will go to hell.

You're not a Christian from birth...

According to what the Bible says, If you are not born again (spiritually) by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Then you will go to Hell. Hindu, Buddhist, Atheist, etc etc etc.

That's what the Bible says. Sorry, American Christians are attempting to save your soul. If that offends you, I apologize. Tell the next Christian that comes to you that you are not in the least bit interested in Heaven. Thank you and have a nice day.

Find an atheist friend. Becuase christinas are persecuted by atheist and atheist by christians, wiccan by christians and christians by wiccans, thats just how it is here and what about Muslims, this is a melting pot and with so many differant races in one place, there will be people that willnot agree with you, as long as us christians are not sticking a gun to your head.
