Even though they are often said to be the same, the God of Muhammed and "the God " of the bible are completely different.
If you study the background of how the prophet Muhammed took leadership in the Muslim society is frantically close to what we as Christians refer to as "demon possession". Muhammed was a normal family oriented man, until one day a voice called out to him while he was traveling home through the Mouton regions of the middle east. History proclaims that Muhammeds first reaction to the voice he heard was that it was an- evil spirit, as the voice became more overwhelming, Muhammed began to harken to it's call. The voice told him that it was "god" the only "god", and that he was choosing him to be a voice to a certain nation. That voice was indeed the voice of Satan. As you may already know Jesus died to bring life to the WHOLE EARTH ,not to a particular people. So, to answer your question God the father had nothing to do with Muhammed's message to the Arabic nation. What Jesus died for, can not and will not be changed.
Hope this helps. :)

Really, Islam and Christianity aren't so different. Try picking up the Quran sometime. Read it. Then read the Bible. See the similarities? Muhammad didn't really change any message in Christianity. He taught of peace and love, just as Jesus Christ did. In truth, people only fight over the 10% difference of religion. I've always said that if people went back to the root of their personal religion and followed it as it should be, the world would be a peaceful place.

Why would God of the Bible send Jesus to change the message God himself gave to Moses on the Mountain?
Who cares if Mohamed contradicted Jesus. Jesus contradicted God.

First, we should distinguish between what Jesus and Muhammad actually did say and teach and those that their followers teach. They are not the same.
You should arrive at the conclusion that they are actually saying the same things even if in different words and contexts. However, each of them is addressing people who are situated at different levels in the order of evolution. Their audience also have different mindsets, attitudes, beliefs and preferences. All of us are different. And therefore each of us must be attended to differently. In our schools, there are grades and levels. We teach grade school pupils elementary subjects, high school is a little more advanced and college is even more so. So with Divine or Religious Instruction.

As Muslims, we believe that Allah, or God, sent Moses (peace be upon him) with the Torah. When the affect of his message started wearing off, and people started reverting to idol-worshipping ways, he sent down Jesus (peace be upon him) to set them, once again, on the right path. Finally, when, once again, mankind decided that stones and clay were much more worthy of their worship, God sent down Muhammed (peace be upon him) with the Quran.
We also believe that there were many, many other prophets sent down in between these three. However, they are the major three. As Muslims, we also believe in Noah, Jacob, Adam, Eve, (peace be upon them all) etc. We, however, believe they are all just prophets of God, and NOT God himself.
We also believe that Jesus (peace be upon him) did not die on the cross. We believe that someone (I can't recall who) had warned our prophet beforehand and someone else (who looks like Jesus, pbuh) took his place and died in his place. Which just goes to show you the love for God and His message that Jesus (pbuh) had incited.
Like Christians, we believe that Jesus (pbuh) will rise again. The time of his rising is not mentioned in the quran, but it is said to come near Judgement Day.
Hope this helps.

Excellent question!
God has sent a many prophets to different peoples in the past.
The Meccans were pagans and believed in many false gods. The location where Adam built the first house of prayer, where Abraham and his son Ismail raised the foundations of that house of prayer needed to be purified, all the false gods destroyed, and honor restored back to the holy place.
That's why Muhammad (PBUH) was chosen by God, a prophet amongst his people, who was known as "the trusted one", to enforce the teachings of ALL the prophets who came before him, including Moses (PBUH) and Jesus (PBUH), and to renew God's message to mankind, beginning with the polytheistic pagan Meccans of the 7th century AD.
Salam!

Muhammed wasnt a prophet of God.
The bible doesn't speak of Muhammed at all and besides, Muhammed hasn't prophecized about anything major that would happen after his lifetime with great detail and it actually happening.
