I used kool-aid to give my mothers tea cup poodle a purple mohawk! It's easier to wash out than food coloring.
Have Fun!

No your not a horrible person, just trying to spice things up. Food Coloring sounds the best, check with your vet. I think that would be better than those spray on hair colors

Not horrid, Maybe a little self absorbed, conceited, selfish, thoughtless.....etc.
Don't get a pet to make people like you, get a pet as your companion.
When you see celebrities dying their pets different colors do you really think the celebrity is cooler some how.
Sorry I will stop ranting...use food coloring if you must.

The cat with instinctivly try to lick it off. If you must do it, use food coloring, but don't expect it to stay for long, especially if that cat doesn't approve. And watch when handling the cat after it's dyed, because they dye will bleed onto other things (your skin, clothes, furniture, etc)... I wouldn't recommend it, but if you MUST that's the safest way I'm guessing.

I am so relieved that you are checking with your vet first! I dyed my horse once with blueing for halloween. Ok, how about green food color? In a strong enough solution it may work.

Green Food coloring and water. The food coloring can be ingested by humans so it is not toxic to animals.

Give up the dye job or find a better home for your cat , they have personalities and aren't a toy. You asked for the truth, I gave it.

Please don't do that... it may be cute and funny to us humans but cats take pride in their fur and will get depressed if you mess with it in any way. Besides, is there really asafe dye for an animal that licks his fur as a normal everyday activity? I think not. Please don't do it. Dress him up in a Yoda outfit for Halloween but don't dy him.

You shouldnt dye your cat. Koolaid is not healthy for them, and you'll ruin her fur and possibly burn her delicate skin under the dense fur.
