me and my boyfriend have been going out for a while and he has talked to me about getting married and well just recently i have found out that he lied to me about his age making me 4 years older instead of 2 and i am really confused on what to do

If he lied to you about this, he could have lied about other things.

This has nothing to do with the age difference, and everything to do with the fact that he lied to you. I would suggest some long and serious talks between the two of you about the importance of honesty in a relationship before you consider marriage.

age is only a number, you like the guy a few year difference doesnt matter. I date a girl that was a lot younger than me. at first the age thing was killing, after i noticing how great she was, the age thing was nothing.

Get over it!!. so what he lied about 2 years, all men want to be a tad younger!, but I would also strongly caution that perhaps you may want to see what other little secrets he's keeping before you say those holy vows

Being honest has to be at the foundation of any relationship.
4 years seems like a lot when you are younger but my S.O. is ten years younger - no worries.

1st of all if he will lie about his age what else has he lied about--that is my question... lies start out small and build up because one has to use a lie to cover up a lie... think long and hard before saying I DO.....

Well girl do you know wat you should is dump him like a flat piece of banana so that you can find a different guy thats more your age and one that you can trust. but if you like him then just tell him that you want a guy you can rely on and he will probably under stand cuz he just made a big mistake by lying to a girl of his DREAMS!!!

As long as he is not underage if you are really feelin' him like that go for it . But I would take into consideration that he did lie to you which may be a sign that he isn't trust worthy.

Be frank & put your proposal before him. He may have told you this as he could not dare to ask you. Age never matter in love.
