Hi, I'm very sorry that you suffer from this disorder. I know from firsthand experience how frustrating it is.
Before I offer my encouragement, I'd like to address the website that another user referred - womentc.com. I'm sure they are very good at what they do, but they cost $10,000 USD with no guarantee for success. They also told me that I would never overcome vaginismus without their treatment process. Guess I sure showed them...
Dilators are definately your best source for overcoming. I know they're uncomfortable, and you probably hate them as much as I did, but ultimately they worked for me. You WILL get past this. I know sometimes it feels like you're the only one in the world.
You know, there are yahoo groups that you can join for support. Try the one called PrimaryVaginismus. It will probably be the most supportive for you.
Best of luck.

Hi Deziah. I suffer from vaginismus too. The ObGyn didn't help me, I was told they are really not trained to treat such problem, and are not aggresive enough to look for solutions. I've had therapy, and tried relaxing, lots of foreplay and cuddling, but didn't work either. I haven't tried dilators yet. As you know, vaginismus is still a not so well known condition. There are many things yet to discover, like its concrete cause and the treatment.
Now, after doing a lot of research I found a place that seems very helpful to solve the problem (I'm also looking for solutions). I haven't started a treatment yet, so I can't give you my personal experience, but I found many succesful stories there. It will give you hope. Good luck!!!!!
