I believe that the people who don't know God are the ones in bondage. They just don't know it because they've never known anything else. Everyone was there at some point. No one was born knowing Jesus. Those of us who let Jesus in our lives know the freedom that comes through him. The people who don't know him can't compare life without him to life with him, because they haven't experienced both, so they don't know there is a difference.

to people who do not believe in God... it does seem like that people who do believe do not have any freedom or that they are surely missing alot (in this lifetime).

but until they go on the other side (instead of just being in the outside looking in)... those kind of thoughts will always be there... for one will never know until... they do start to believe.

You know, I would have said the exact same thing about those people who have closed their hearts to the experience of knowing Jesus....
You won't know what you've missed till it's gone.......

No of course not, how can they realize anything in death? They will just go through life locked in their cocoon of ignorance afraid if they dare to think they will lose trier little piece of fantasy la la land of eternity. Not knowing they will never get it. Afraid their boogie man Satan will jump out and take a bite of their butt at any moment.

please name me the 'freedoms' i'm missing...everything in life is a choice..'a' or 'b' or 'c' or 'd'...no one can HAVE everything, and no one WANTS everything..as a Christian, i haven't missed out on anything important to me...ask yourself what's important to you, and what you can do without...it's really not very complicated

I don't see any lack of freedom in my faith in God.
Its my free choice to make, as its your free choice to not believe.

Don't pity me-- I am happy with my own decision.
