Surrounded by the Gulf of St. Lawrence to the north, the Bay of Fundy to the west, and the Atlantic Ocean to the south and east, we experience a true marine climate.

Located almost exactly half-way between the Equator and the North Pole (44º 39' N Longitude) Halifax is below the 49th parallel and at almost the same parallel as Portland, Maine.

Halifax experiences some of the same climactic conditions as found in many European cities including London and Brussels.

I lived there for a while -- Wolfville Nova Scotia to be exact . The location is Atlantic Canada -- the climate is similar to Maine (since they are very close) I think the most notable thing about the area is that they experience the highest tides in the world.

Drop me an email for more specific questions.
