I've been told that it's best to consume fruits with empty stomach as it's easier for the stomach to absorb the vitamins. Maybe that's why most americans have orange juice as part of their breakfast. Another theory said that it's best if you consume carbohydrate with slow energy release to keep you full at least until the lunch time. Glutinous rice for example, has a faster energy release than normal rice, that's why when you eat glutinous rice, you'll feel hungry again in just a short time. I hope this help.

Just a nice cup of brewed coffee with toast, strawberry jam & lots of butter. Been having this breakfast for the past 15 years, sometimes I wonder why I am still having it.

I can't eat first thing in the morning--makes me sick-always has. Not literally, just not appealing. I love breakfast foods though and will sometimes fix them for dinner: scrambled eggs, fried ham or bacon, sausage or skillet gravy with biscuits, fried potatoes, coffee. My morning "breakfast" consists of iced tea or Mountain Dew and once I let it get slushy in the freezer I have a Starbucks Frappucino!

Peanut butter on toast.

Ideal: Turkey, cheese and tomato omelette doused in salsa and topped with sour cream, six strips of bacon, hash browns with tabasco sauce all over them, two sausage patties, four links served next to strawberry filled pancakes with a scoop of butter and maple syrup all over them and on the sausages. Toasted English muffins on the side with fresh butter.

Coffee (Seattle's best) with Irish Cream flavor, a carafe of orange juice, a carafe of grapefruit juice, a carafe of tomato or vegetable juice and ice water on the side.

I will likely never see this again, though, if my doctor has his way.

No fresh fruits-Crohn's disease. The fiber is painful to digest.

Ideally - a couple slices of bacon, bowl of grits with butter, salt & pepper, english muffin toasted with butter and boysenberry jam and a bowl of cottage cheese with pineapple.
Usually - a pot of coffee at work . *sigh*
