what additional notes or documents should you attach to a scholarship application that will relate to your interest in the program?

Honestly? It counts on the scholarship. If its something that has revelance to work you've done, or your volunteer history, attach a copy of your resume. When I was applying for undergrad, I made up a two page sheet that listed all of my high school clubs and activites, offices held, and any awards I got. Did it help? I will say this: I applied for seven scholarships, and got four of them.

It's a precarious line, because offering up too much information can make you seem overbearing at times.

Try and get a letter from a teacher you know; that can introduce you and share some point of view from His/Her side. Teacher's are all to willing to help when they know you are as excited as they are. In interests.
