If a priest did yell at you for an abortion. He should really be reported for his insensitivity. I don't know why they think that you should be confessing your sins to them anyway. Say 10,000 hail marys while standing on your head in the middle of a blizzard is about as worthwhile to God as singing Amazing Grace backwards while eating pork and beans.
We don't listen to MAN, we listen to what God has to say. Stop listening to man and go read God's word for yourself.
You need to be comforted after such an ordeal. It is emotionally exhausting as well as physically hard on someone to go through that procedure.
I know it cannot be easy for you to have given up a child especially when you were deceived into believing that it wasn't a child, but liquid guck. How dehumanizing the leftists are. If it was a baby dung beetle, you'd have been arrested for killing an endangered species.
Anyway, you don't need but one priest and that is the eternal priest Jesus Christ. The Bible states there is ONE mediator between man and God... The man Christ Jesus I Tim 2:5. You make your confessions to HIM and HIM alone.
He knows what you're going through, He knows that temptations there are. Just repent of the abortion and purpose in your heart not to do it again. He will forgive you.
Listen to God, not man. The written word, The Bible is the best means of finding out what God says and how He'd react or judge on any sin.

I had an abortion (before I became Catholic). The priest did not yell at me when I confessed it. It is highly unlikely a priest would yell at a penitent for that (especially if they are crying like I was).

not a woman, but God is always willing to forgive anything and hoping that we confess our sins. The Priest isn't going to "yell" at us, he is there to guide us and instruct us how to live a better life. Guilt and shame are what satan wants the person to feel.

Go directly to God. Priests cannot forgive sins. They need forgiveness for themselves.
