I like him very much and I'm afraid confessing would make our friendship awkard, but I feel bad keeping it a secret from him. Should I write a letter? Approach him in person? I don't feel at this point that I can do the latter...

Chances are, if you're feeling vibes likes these he probably is too. I would think that in person is best, then the letter. Don't do it via phone, text, IM, or email though. Those are the WORST means of communication for something this deep.

Ohhh my. I have been in the same situation youre in. I had this guy friend and we were very tight, but then i started liking him and i didn't think he felt the same for me .. But, i asked him out anyways .. and he said Yes ! But he told me the reason he said yes was not bcuz he liked me (well he obviously did lol :P) but bcuz we had been close friends for a long time and bcuz he had feelings for me but didnt wanna make the first move . And i think no one rly likes making the first move, but if you did it, it yould get you started. I think going to him in person is better becausee sayy you ask him out through a letter or on the computer and he says yes, (or no), it would be kinda awkward the next time u see but if ur together when u talk itd be more romantic . So thats my advice ! Just let him know how you feel in person and ask him out ! And if he says no, dont ask more than once, they would hate that. But he would know how you feel in case he wants to re-think it !

Maybe you might try leaving little hints. If they seem interested, then be more abrupt..but if they seem uninterested or turned-off (don't talk to you as much, ignore you) then that's a pretty good sign they aren't into you. Then your friendship would most likely remain normal.

well valentines day is coming up........and if u still want to write that letter u can write as anomymous(i know i spelled that wrong) and u can give him clues yet not cleary giving it away. if he comes to u for help, help him figure it out, if he figures it out YAY!, you did "together". things u do with a bf or gf, "together", lol, but i know it sounds a little corny but it'll be fun. and pretty kool cause it was my idea, sike, u can do w/e u want hopefully this sparked any other ideas u can do, or u can use this one!

in person always takes a lot of nerve. if you want to take the easy way then write a letter.
