I've lived for the most part of the year at home with my parents. Can I use their assets on the I-864 to meet the requirements?

You can only include their assets if you are an integral member of their household. Living with them for part of the year does not work.

You can, however, ask them to serve as joint sponsors. They would complete an I-864 of their own.
