i have wanted a myspace for over2 years now!
everyone at school has one!
i know im only 11 but i want one BAD!!!!!!!!!

sorry but at age 9 you wanted a myspace?
i got myspace when i was 12
its not a big deal. trust me its better nto having one. you'd get addicted to it.
also; wait at least for another year when you are older. you understand things a lot better. You are now probably thinking "what the heck! i undertand.." blah blah but trust me. i've been there and done that... i know

You do not NEED a Myspace page. What you need at eleven is some face-to-face interaction with your friends, a physical activity, such as a sport and to act like a true eleven year old.
You've seriously wanted a Myspace page since you were nine? That makes me sad. At nine I wanted more outdoor time and Barbie Dolls. Myspace is for grown ups, don't cut your childhood short by wanting to be older...

Honey, I'm a parent and two of my sons have my space. Much like your parents, I didn't think they "NEEDED" one either. Especially after all the bad news reports we hear. My children actually took a different approach into convincing me to allow them to have one. And the first thing they did was explain to me why they should be allowed to have one. The major factor was trust. neither one of my boys have ever given me a reason not to trust them. They are honest, they allow me to check it whenever I want to (which I do often) and I approved the pictures they put of themselves on there. They also made their sight private, which means that only their immediate friends have access to it. Why not try to let your parents help set up your sight. Tell them you have no problem with them checking it and then make sure that you do make it private. I know that's not as exciting as talking to kids on the other side of the world, but honey, you are only 11 and sometimes you have to give a little to get a little. So there should be nothing wrong with just using it for your own circle of friends rather than the entire world.

err... why dont they allow it?
"No you cant have a MySpace because, err... wat was it darling? oh yeah. You cant have it because internet is bad WOOOO!!!!"
or sth like
"No you are not allowed to enjoy yourself. Now help your mother with the dishes. Being miserable builds character!MOHAHAHA!"
I have a great way to persuade them into that. It works 100% everytime I do it!!

girl there are very crazy people online (for example me). they dont want you to get hurt by some psycho crazy maloster computer freak. I dont mean hurt as in like getting attacked or anything but they might leave a message or sth alike tht will upset you.
try expressing how you feel. be honest wit your feelings and you ll be amazed at how much you can gain from it. maybe not a MySpace but a brand new pair of shoes?

Why do you NEED a myspace when youre 11, and myspace is waaay to dangerous for you when youre only 11. (even when youre older but still). dont do things just because everyone else does it. thats not cool.

Tell them you will make you myspace private so only people that are you friend can actually see it. Also tell them you will not place where you live or anything like that on it!

It is a great way for some strange man to try and track you down and kidnap you.
