ok we have 4 budgies 2 male and 2 female.I noticed he regurgitates to both females, and now he is starting to regurgitate to the other male.Whats going on?Can he not decide or what.Firstly we just had one of each gender and just about 2 weeks ago we got the other pair.and now he is regurgitating to all 3 of the budgies.Is this normal? 2 of the budgies are still young i dont know if this helps any(both pink ceres).Does he think they are his own babies or what?

It's normal for a budgie to regurgitate to other birds of the same gender. It's just a social thing that budgies that are closely associated with each other do, since they are very social birds, living in flocks of hundreds in the wild.

I had two budgies a male and a female and the male would regurgitate food for sydney as well as bring treats to her and stuff. he is probably just very good friends with all of them and wants to take care of them.

Well if they are young enough, like they havent gone through their multing stage then you couldnt exactly tell with is a boy and wich is a girl. Sometimes they change over "bird puberty" The male could actually be the only male. and its not like with humans, when a human sees its lover with another human they react. Birds dont care.

hi have budgies & yes it is normal for a male to feed more than one bird even if it is the same sex sometimes 2 males or 2 females will kiss & clean each other j

well sometimes the males regurgitate to the females while they are on the nest. or he just wants to share his food, or he might think they are his babies

I know alot about birds....It has alot do do with sex....They want to mate...when they do a dance with their tail on the floor ...they are masterbating....lol .....it is true.
