My boyfriend of 1 year, ( we were together for 14 years, broke up for a year and a half, and then got back together for a year.) Well anyways we were back together for a year and he broke up with me on new years eve. But it seems like we talk to each other more now then we did then. We talk almost everyday. I was really sick on monday and he must have called me about 7 times. I really miss him. But my question is, if he really wanted to break up don't you think it would have been a clean break? with no contact? Is it just my wishful thinking that maybe he still wants to be with me? Or am I just reading into it to much?

Maybe you two are just confused right now. Like my friend for instance, he would call two times out of the week, but when I told him I slept with somebody else he called everyday. It just be that way sometimes. You guys were together for 14 years. His feelings for you are not going to go away just like that. That's why he called you 7 times ; he cares about you a great deal. He probably was drunk on New Years Eve when he broke up with you.:) You never miss a good thing until it's gone. Maybe now he is having second thoughts. Good Luck.

sometimes things are just the way that they are and I think we all tend to spend too much time trying to get into other peoples heads to see what their motives are. Honestly it sounds to me like this guy thinks he can just toss you to the side and then pick you back up whenever he feels like it. I understand why you are confused, he seems so interested in what is going on with you . Seriously sweetheart it sounds like you need to let it go. You deserve someone that is going to be there no matter what. Obviously he doesn't care that much if you are that "disposable" to him!!!

You and he have known each other a long time-he cares about you. Whether it is friendship level or more on his part-please consider asking him-since he knows how he feels about you. And, if he doesn't know for sure if "just friends" or more-it would be a good time to talk it over with him. Take care.

If guy does this then he knows he cant get any oda girl, he aint good looking and cant geta pretty slim intelligent girl so he sticks with u, he must have tried getting sumone before but knows he ain that good looking, so thinks he just stick with u, trust me , this is true, take it from me as guy, guys always respect pretty slim tall intelligent women, he is only wiht u cuz he cnt get any oida girl lol, simple.
