My wife is an RN - BSN, and nurses can vary, but at the very lease 20 bucks an hour plus benefits. Traveling nurses can make up to 40-45 dollars an hour, but you move every 13 weeks. Nurses who specialize can make pretty good money, 30-50 per hour. Nurses with masters degrees six figures. Nurse practitioners start around 70K per year, Nurse Anesthetists, well over 100K per year.
Just depends what you want to do in nursing...but at least 20 per hour.

Nurses probably average $25/hour. However, some nurses work locum, which means they travel or work for an agency that staffs facilities in need of temp help. Those nurses may make more. It depends on what part of the country you work in, and the type of nursing you do. Most RN's are not making that much; even the advanced practice nurses I know do not make that much at their regular jobs. They can make that much, and more, by filling in where there is a shortage of nurses.

A new Graduate RN can start at $25/hr. A nurse's salary depends on several factors..education level, experience, certifications in their area of expertice. The average RN makes between $50,000-over $100,000 depending on overtime, call, weekend and holiday work.

To find an estimate of what nurse's make in your area visit www.salary.com, a nurse's salary depends on the specific field and population served. I believe Home Health RN's are higher on the pay scale.

I don't think its quite that much. Go to some career website, it will show you the median income if you want. My girlfriend says that around here (Montana) nurses usually start at 40k -45k a year, but can make more.
