Well, the best way to start is to give eye contact and maybe even a smile. If you can muster up a smile, then it is a great move. Then you can start talking to him. Once you have a few converations with him, he will start liking you.

Your BF has to be your guideance. HE should make the move. I'm 11, and I always make my GF feel protected and comfortable around me. We've been going out for 2 months and we kissed maybe twice. If he has feelings for you, hed do something really sweet for you this valentines day. I bought my GF a Box of chocolate, a dozen roses and a frog (she loves red eye tree frogs lol). You can't make the move. If he still doesn't make the move, get someone else who will make you feel more secure and THey will make the move.

I used to be shy, but sometimes you need to force up the courage to make your move...it doesn't have to be bold, but it does need to happen. Once you do it a couple of times you'll get braver...now I just ask them out, no beating around the bush...like today, this really pretty, and really nice girl I work with is leaving the company (we can't date in our office environment), so I walked up to her and said, "so I hear your leaving" and she said she was, so I asked her out...I said flat out "do you want to go out for dinner with me"...now consider I hardly knew her, I didn't know what she'd say, or how she'd react...was I nervous...Nope...and guess what, we're going for dinner :)
Now if she'd said No, I'd have no regrets, because at least I tried, and I'd rather have tried then spend time regretting not going for it at all!

You'll work out the shyness if you try more...every time you try it gets easier!

The simpliest and kindest thing to do is 'smile'. Smiling is a positive gesture of 'peace and love'. When he noticed you and return that smile, he is making peace with you. So next time when you meets him along the corridor, canteen, mall etc. just say 'hi'. It is one of the shortest words you can ever find. You can even 'blurred' out, LOL.
