You could still be lactose intolerant. Chemicals in the food react differently with other chemicals, that could be what caused you to be sick. Freshness is also a factor. Some chemicals change radically when aged a bit.

I would suspect milk that was on the verge of going bad. Was it a muffin with some acidic fruit in it like lemon, that will curdle milk and make you sick.

Just because you can eat ice-cream and other daity products does not mean you might not have a small intolerance to milk. Try soy milk.

It may have been an ingredient in the muffin, or possibly the milk was a little past its expiry date.

I've gotten sick before for no apparent reason. Maybe the milk was a little sour? If this happens again, see your doctor about it, it could be a sign of something more serious and have nothing at all to do with what you ate. Take Care and Good Luck! =)

Maybe the muffin was bad. Or the milk had expired. just for your safety check what you eat next time.

if you dont like milk you probablly shouldn't drink it. no matter how hard you try to force it down theres just know easy way. substitute a different drink like juice, coffee, cocoa, or tea.
