Its your choice...if you want to wait and feel thats the right things to do then great, it'll be all the better when you find it! One thing to remember though...don't pass up on people for the wrong reasons, like waiting for the perfect girl...because sometimes you'll let her slip right by! You'll be amazed at how many people spend the rest of their life waiting for miss perfect, when they should be looking for miss right! Nobodies perfect, and what you think are looking for may come in a way that you don't expect, or doesn't look they way you think! Be open and you'll find her!

I personally think you should wait for the right girl to come along, and she will. You are in your early teens and you have your whole life ahead of you. Don't throw away a part of you that can't be retrieved. Wait for that special someone. It will be worth it.

Since you are in 10th grade it is not bad for you to look for the right one. I think you should still keep your opposions open though. You should still date around. But keep you eyes open, because who knows the right one could be out there some- where.

i never dated as a teen. i was very shy and picky about who i asked out.. i regret this.. i wish i was more open. just ask someone out casually. you don't have to commit to them for life.. just go out and have fun. dating is a good way to develop social skills. and then you will have confidence and be ready for when that right special girl does come along..
i didn't have my first real relationship til i was in my 20s! but my social skills were still in development. i acted more like a teen and it was very tough..
