Is it the meat or just the skin. If you didn't marinate it , it shouldn't have penetrated the meat..There isn't a thing you can do if it has penetrated the meat. If you soak it in a sauce it will only add to the spice you already have. If, in fact, it is into the meat you could always call in some Cajun folks, they like a lot of spice..Any leftovers you can ship to me. I think the rice you mentioned, as a side dish, might just be enough to mellow it out..Don't serve it with wine. I think that that would make your palate cleaner and enhance the spice you are trying to mute..

oh depends on wht kind of chicken, the chineese use sugar to help neutralize the burn, so get some sugar and give it a light coat, it will be a little sweet, but it will reduch the spice by a large amount, DO NOT COOK IT MORE, that will push the spice deeper into the food

Believe it or not, a tablespoon of sugar mixed with a tablespoon of vinegar, lemon juice or lime juice will temper a dish that's too spicy. Longer cooking (or refrigerating overnight) can also reduce the spiciness.

If you have a sauce to put over it, try adding a lot of sauce. If you are going to re-heat it, you can always wash it off with water and re heat it.

If it has skin, peel the skin off. But washing under warm water ought to help tremendously, w/ or w/o skin.
