Does anyone know of an Indian fruit called Chiku or Ch(S)apota? Is it ever sold in the U.S.?

The fruit is commonly known as sapodilla. It actually originated in the Yucatan, Southern Mexico and parts of South America and brought to the Philippines by early Spanish colonist. Today, It is commercially grown in India as the largest grower, Mexico, South America, the Philippines and in Florida.
