I want to let my hair grow out but never have been able to due to the fact that it is very thick and pretty frizzy. does anybody know what i can use to make my hair fall down more and not so frizzy and poofy.

My hair is the exact same way and i use a couple of products to keep it lacking of frizzyness.

I use:
Sunsilk Antifrizz Shampoo
Sunsilk Antifrizz 24/7 Creme
Brocato Hairshine(for some reason it kinda gives the hair a wet feeling keeping it together)
Hairspray at the end(just a bit)

I would use Mark. salon straight smoothing balm. It works very well and has been featured in magazines. Then blow dry with a straightening brush( you can find one at Sally's Beauty Supply)
Then straighten your hair with a flat iron. If you don't have one it is well worth investing the money to buy a good one.
If you have an AVON or Mark. rep buy it from them. If you don't you can find one at www.meetmark.com or www.youravon.com

Static Guard

Instantly Eliminates Static Cling and Frizzy hair. I like the fresh Scent. you can buy it at Longs or Rite Aid or Save-On.
Also you can use it on your clothes. Just Spray it on your hair
brush and brush your hair.
