If you're worried that the 11 year old boy has big or small feet then don't worry. A size 2 shoe is fine. If you're female then a size 2 in boys is similar to a size 4 in girls. Most girls between 9-12 typically wear a shoe size close to their age. So if an 11 year old girls wore an 11 then her boy counerpart could be between sizes 10-3. Boys sometimes shoot up in the feet around age 13. And sometimes they go from and 11 to 4 over a couple of months. So it's a perfectly good size.
Any size that fits is a good size.

I have an 11 year old girl and she wears a 5....just depends on the size of the foot.

They're good if he wears a size 2. My 10 year old wears a 2 1/2 and my 12 year old weares a six. Hope that helps.

try 3 1/2 maybe.
