When do I take my dog outside after he eats?

I have a bullmasiff (12 weeks) I take him out 5-10 minutes after he is done eating. I usually had to walk around the yard with him until he did his business which was usually after a few minutes. I did this after every meal and now he eats and goes to the door, by himself, to let me know its time to go out. I did this for 2 weeks and now BO is fully potty trained. These dogs are soo smart it amazes me.

If your potty training, take him as soon as hes done. If hes a new puppy you can even carry him straight from his bowl. Even after a drink of water. Wait for him to go, Or keep walking him until he goes. Praise him when he goes and give treats at the door. Mastiffs are smart he should start asking to go out soon.

Give him about an hour to digest his food and he'll be ready to poop.
