Ok so im a guy and iv tried asking girls out nd well lets just say my record is not so good. I don't see why i strike out so much. I don't think im that bad looking, im in shape, iv got personality, and im smart. Whats the problem? 1 thing tho is im not all that social outside of my group of friends. so ya help?

just keep plugging away, dude. do you try to just ask right away? get a coversation started, talk about movies, school whatever, nothing personal, make her laugh. after a bit, ask something semi-personal and look interested in her answers. Finally, ask in an offhand manner, no pressure, So, do you like Chinese food? Or, Have you seen _______ (latest movie - pref comedy NOT 1 1/2 hour of topless chicks) anythying where you can be "alone" but surrounded by people is best. The point is don't sound pressured, be relaxed, and if she says no it's O.K. maybe next time.
