I was taking care of a child and his mom decided to get help from the government to help pay for the cost of baby sitting and her social worker said that she could help her and put the child in day care. She also said that if she refuses to put him in day care for 3 months that she the mom will have to pay from the government from her pocket those 3 months and then pay additional for me the babysitter. He is not happy there scince he has gotten used to being around me and he would have so much fun. Can she denie that help if so will it affect her other help such as food stamps and medicare and such. What can we do about it is there away around that. Please help I already miss him so much......

I was against daycare for my daughter until I HAD to do it. Then I found it was good for her to be around other kids. It sounds like you care about this child and she(the mom) needs all the help she can get.

Why not help her out and just be a friend to both of them? It does not sound like you are worried about the money.

I wish I had someone like you who cared about my daughter. I would be so grateful for any extra help, being on my own with her. You can help her just by being a friend and playing with him when she needs to get things done.

You can get licensed, and have the government pay you to take care of the child.

You can become a state certified daycare provider the classes are simple and worth it. My mom had the same problem so my grandmother took the classes
