Rep. Dana Rohrabacher is livid over the treatment of Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean. Now that the DHS' lies about these agents have come to light, if Bush doesn't get moving on this pardon - Rohrabacher promises impeachment hearings. YAY!!!

As badly as i want him to be impeached, I've wanted him to be impeached since this war started, I doubt it will happen. The next election is only a year and a half away I seriously doubt congress will take the time to do it. But think about it, Bush impeached, Dick Cheney becomes president

First of all. there's no grounds for impeachment so your an idiot for bringing it up. Secondly, the Democrats said that they would not start the impeachment process. Last, if impeachment proceedings were completed and Bush was removed from office(which there isn't enough time left in his term for all of that to happe), then Cheney would be president and would continue to run the country the way the Bush has.

No way I mean if Clinton didn't get impeached there is no way on earth that Bush is going to. Besides the fact that he really doesn't deserve to be impeached. He just made some bad decisions. That is no reason to be thrown out of office and to be publically disgraced for the rest of his life. The press will do enough of that for him without congress getting involved as well.

There will be more hearings, and as Bush's crimes are exposed, pressure for impeachment will build. It won't be immediate, but I think we'll see calls for impeachment within 6 months, and they'll get louder from there.
Key developments:
* Scooter Libby trial hints at Bush's awareness and potential involvement in leak of CIA agent identity
* Congressional hearings will be held on NSA illegal wiretapping
* Congressional hearings will be held on "signing statements"
Any of these could reveal impeachable offenses to the more general public.

do you actually know what impeaching the president means? it does not mean that he is kicked out of office. and what law has he broken to call for impeachment? you see that is why you impeach a president it is his trial to determine guilt or innocence in a crime. so what crime has he committed? receiving the same bad intelligence that made the dems want to go to war? no that is the fault of the CIA and NSA. i just want one person to tell me what he has done that is illegal and deserves a trial. feel free to emial me your answers.

Why would he be impeached? What did he do? He actually has to do something illegal for that to happen.

Bush cannot be impeached because there is no American brave enough to file the case in Congress.

Not a chance. President Bush has been a good president, even though he isn't conservative enough.
I would rather have a 1000 president Bushes than 5 minutes of Hillary.
