God sent prophets to convey his message and to be a living example to their followers.

But in bible we find:
- Moses was a murderer.
- David was an adulterer.
- Solomon was an idol worshiper.

Others were thieves and criminals... the question are:
Did God fail in choosing his prophets?
How can God expect us to obey him when the prophets whom were sent by him to convey the message broke even the 10 commandments?

These kind of sins are not commited by avarage people .. and the penalty is stoning according to bible.

So how can they be commited the prophet, who should be at least holier than others.
I can't obey a man who is inferior to me.

god used ordinary people like the prophets to show that any body has a free will to continue to good are bad the beauty of it is that they repented (turned away from sin and continuing to strive to do right ) and you still have time to turn from your sin and accept Jesus as your personal Savior

God did not fail one bit, and the reason for that is simple - we have ALL sinned. There is only ONE perfect prophet without sin through the whole Bible, not to mention history, and that is Jesus Christ. As Romans tells us, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." No matter who God picked, they would have some sin that would stain them. And that is the case with all of us. Did you know that I am a murderer? Did you know that I am an adulterer? Did you know that you probably are too? Jesus told us that if we hate someone, we have murdered them in our heart, and that if we look with lust then we have commited adultery in our heart. I know I'm certainly guilty of those things, even if I haven't physicly commited the acts.
The same thing applies to idol worship. Although I have never physicly bowed down before an idol, I have made things of this world an "idol" in the sense that I put more stock in them than I do in God. And that, my friend, is idolatry.

My overall point is that although you say these prophets of God were sinners, murderers, thieves, etc., please keep in mind that you are too. And so am I. And so is everyone. None of us would ever be "good enough" to be a prophet of God, and the only perfect person ever was Jesus Christ. And the very reason He came was to die for our sins is BECAUSE we're not perfect. He came to redeem of us of the sins that seperated us from God.

MAN IS BORN IN THE IMPERFECTIONS OF SIN AND UNDER THE DEATH PENALTY

The ability of man to get it right is slim to none. The selected few in the bible that try to help themselves and every one else reflect what happens, not anything is hidden. Heb.11:1-14; 12:1,2; Write all the people that had any success at all on one sheet of paper.

The New Testament is aimed at apostles that John 6:39,40,44; are to be raised up at the last day to be with Christ. John 14:3; JESUS WENT TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR THEM.
John 3:13-17; No man went to heaven but Jesus Christ. Matt.20:22,23; He and Stephen Acts 7:1-60; has a certain baptism for knowing the WORD OF GOD John 17:1-26; Jesus prayed for his to be where he is. Rev.6:9-11 is an example of how they are getting there. JUDGED BY THE WORD Rev.12:11; The love not their lives unto death and Rev.17:6; There are those that love to kill them as they did Jesus. Rev.20:1-6,12,13; No Satan for 1000 years.
The heavenly first resurrected for the new heavens, are with Jesus Heb.12:22-24;
Rev.3:12; to resurrect the earthly for the new earth. 2Pet.3:13; Rev.21:1-5; All made new.

These people are in Jesus bloodline. Plus a whole lot more sins of the human race.

It shows that even the best of us are going to fail. The failures are documented to show the results of each particular sin.

They are also written to show God's mercy. Moses murdered a man before he ever knew he was Israel's deliverer.

After David committed adultery he wrote Psalm 51. After he repented God called him "A man after God's own heart."

Solomon wound living with regret.

God is the God of second chance. And Third. And as many as you need. These examples were written to show His mercy.

Take note of how these men were restored.

God doesn't talk in verbatum language. Nobody really knows what "God says." If a message came directly from God, word by word, and someone took it down like a secretary taking dictation, it still has to go through a human mind to be understood.

That means that interpretation becomes an issue. I believe that all that is needed to reach the truth is an openness to God. If a question is important for you to know, he is capable to get an answer to you in some way.

God said to Moses: "I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious and will show compassion on whom I will show compassion." (Exodus 33:19)
David declared "How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven and whose sin is covered! How blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit." (Psalm 32:1)
Both Moses and David were greatly humbled by God on account of their sin, but after repenting were restored by God. As for Solomon, his digression into apostasy occurred later in his life, after God had used him to rule Israel and write many Scriptures. We are not really told if he died in faith or not.
God really has no alternative than to choose sinners, since all have sinned. As it says in Romans 11:32; "For God has shut up all in disobedience, that He might show mercy to all."
"For by grace are you saved through faith; from God comes the gift. It is not a result of works, so no one has anything to brag about." (Ephesians 2:8,9)

David wasn't classified as a prophet, but a worshiper.
Solomon wasn't mentioned as a prophet, either.

Moses killed BEFORE the Ten Commandments came in place. Please note why Moses killed the Egyptians before making an assumption that he did it in premeditation
God doesn't make mistakes. WE DO.

That's the beauty of grace.

Mankind is very fallible in a flesh body.

God's Word is truth.

Can't you see that?

Are you blind?

God's Word is truth !!

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
