How do you call a pyramid?

What are some terms?

Any other tips from rowers about coxswains, or from coxswains on how do be a good coxswain would be much appriciated = ]

Im in college, and although Ive never coxed, I have rowed a bit. Heres one thing that me and a lot of my teammates pretty much agree on- the less you talk to rowers while they are doign an erg workout, the better. We rowers sort of despise coxs because they do so little hard work, while we're busting our behinds. If your a rower turn cox, Im sure you understand the sentiment. Thus, everytime a cox tells me to pull harder or mentions how much time there is, I get furious and it annoys me to no end. One, we wouldnt be rowing unless we were giving it our all. And two, we got the screen right in front of us. No need to tell us that we got 2 mins or 300m left.

Here are some basic, basic terms Ive picked up from my cox.
-Im sure you know "power 10" (its 10 of your hardest strokes, if you dont).
-"Lay hold". Tells your rowers to put their hands on the boat.
- "Up/down to waist" Raise/lower the boat to waist level.
-"Up over head" Raise the boat over their head with arms completely outstretched.
