The last end is called the "heel", but not until the rest of the loaf is gone.....not sure what the first end is called!

We always just called it the 'end slice' my grandparents often said who ever ate the 'end slice' would have the luck of others being attracted to them.

The Butt, I love butt bread it holds the butter better. I liked buttered up butts.
