I'm not clear exactly what you're talking about, but I think you mean the per-diem.

Flight attendants and pilots, as in other industries, are granted per-diem allowances that are tax-free. The value of each per-diem benefit is set by statutory law each year. Your airline employer tracks all of your travel. They also, generally, provide you with a report with the calculation of your per-diem income that is exempt from tax. It's not so much as a deduction as it is exempt income.

Flight attendent tax understands how beneficial our per diem deductions are that they will actually look at a flight attendants schedule and get exact allowances for the day and city they were in. The amounts change day to day and city to city and some tax places will just estimate the amounts. An average crew schedule of 80 hours a month can result in as much as $10-$15,000. in deductions!

There are no such deductions in US tax law that I've heard of or can find on the IRS website.

If you are based out of a foreign location your pay may be treated as Foriegn Earned Income and part of it may be excluded from US taxes (if you file a timely return) or you can claim a credit for foreign income taxes paid.

If you have unreimbursed hotel expenses (highly unusual) or other unreimbursed expenses, those would be deductible using Form 2106 if you itemized deductions.

Per diem allowances and deductions are huge. The calculation for your per diem allowances methods is IRS and that maximizes your deduction. Most tax preparers are unfamiliar or simply will not take advantage of this incredible tax deduction. You can also see tis link below for detail.
