I have went out with a boy for 6 months and i do not know how to tell them

The straightforward approach is always the easiest, even if it doesn't seem like it. As long as you've been intelligent and responsible about it, it shouldn't really be a big deal.

OMG!!! i read this and i was like =0!! ive been going out with my bf for 6 monthes now too! and my parents don't know! im 15 and my mom thinks im too young to be in a real relationship or even date. i want to tell her, but ill freak if she says end it with him! and the problem is im in love with!!! this is a situation is your chocie.

Ask your parents if he can come over for dinner one night. Let them get to know him. Tell your parents he's just a friend, tell the B.F. to play along, and then if your parents liked him, you can tell them the truth. Secrets are never a good thing.

It's going to be a lot easier to tell them now, rather then when you get pregnant (or something else). I think if you act casual about it, and tell your parents you like a boy, his name, whatever you want to tell them about him, then ask if you can bring him home to meet them - they will be more receptive to your growing up, since you will be trying to include them in your life.

Well, I think it is better to tell them straight foward before they find out the hard way. They MIght be disapointed with you, but it won't be as bad as them finding out on their own. Don't be afraid to do the right thing.
