When you hear a child pledging allegiance does it give you a feeling of pride and future protection? Or do you think of it as just something cute to hear kids say?

less than 10%. But, a lot of their parents don't really understand it either.

I'd say 5%. A little bit of both when listening to a child say the pledge to the flag.

I remember saying it as early as kindergarten and knowing at least most of what it meant.
I didn't know what "the republic for which it stands" meant at the time, but other than that, I understood it.

Oh yeah, I didn't know what "indivisible" meant either. hehe
