Don't think that a hug means a person wants to have sex with you. It usually means what it means...unless the person gropes your butt afterwards. A tight hug that lasts for more than a second is the most meaningful. It definately means the person likes you as more than a friend.

a hug equals affection. nothing to read too much into. and nothing to not consider important. a hug is just a hug and a nice thing at that.

Truthfully i wonder the sam thing sometimes! I thinik that it just is a way of saying hi and that you care about that person! I hug my friends all the time kinda i guess to show that i care about them! some people do it to get attention or closer to pretty girls (like me) lol...just playin! i think that why

a hug could mean anything in general. It could be a freindship hug, if its coming from a freind, and it could mean more if its coming from a bf/gf.

It's pretty broad. It's anywhere from "you're just on this side of revolting" to "I wanna marry you". I wouldn't read TOO much into it, but the general idea is "I like you".
