Do you believe in Spirits and ghosts?

There are wicked spirits, but there are no such things as ghosts, for the Bible tells us that the dead cannot hear, see, or feel anything--"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest." Ecclesiastes 9:10
"His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish." Psalm 146:4
Satan and his demons like to scare people. Sometimes they pretend to be people who have died. They may even imitate voices of those who have died. In this way the demons fool many into believing that dead people are alive and can talk with the living. Yes, the demons cause many people to believe in ghosts.
The Bible warns that Satan and his demons are intent on misleading mankind. They take advantage of mankind’s despair and hopelessness to offer attractive, but false, solutions. (2 Corinthians 11:14) Hence, the Bible warning: “In later periods of time some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to misleading inspired utterances and teachings of demons.”—1 Timothy 4:1.
Christians need to listen to what the Bible really teaches about the dead. If they do, then they will not believe in ghosts, but will realize just how powerful Satan is in his quest to deceive us.

A spirit can not be seen, but it can be felt, experienced, sensed, perceived, discerned, examined, trusted, believed, considered and changed. A spirit has no power of its own, with the exception of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit bears testimony of God's presence, and reminds us that God is always with us, to comfort, guide and protect.

The bible's definition of a spirit and a ghost are very different. The bible does disclose information about God created spirit creatures in heaven but ghost (human wondering soul) is not a taught belief.

"For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing" (Ecclesiastes 9:5)

"Till you return to the ground, Because from it you were taken; For you are dust, And to dust you shall return. " (Gen 3:19)

Yes, I believe there are spirits ( the Holy Spirit, angels, demons, etc.) Ghosts are just another name for spirits by those who don't know any better.

I have no choice since they usually come to me or I see them, spirits and ghost, and or feel their presence. Although, I have not came in contact with an evil spirit or ghost. The ones that I had closer encounters with were comforting or touch softly, some were helpful to do with my young son, some are protective.

I woke up terrified,?a greenish light lit my bedroom.I was six.I DID NOT want to look over,as I felt their evil presence.It filled the room.but I did,3 small flying demons were flying around the top of my older brothers bed. one looked over at me, I screamed, but no sound came out, I put my head down till the light went away and i felt that they had left.I will never forget those evil eyes when it looked at me,It wasn't a dream,I know what a dream is,that was as real as it gets.But for some reason I wasn't afraid later that they would come back.That was the first and only time I ever saw anything like that, Thank God.I just read what the lover of the bible lady said ,I think she is might be right.

The only Ghost there is is the HOLYGHOST the best spirit there is.. is the HOLYSPIRIT. There are spirits. actually u yourself are a spirit that inhabits a body. we are all spirits that dwell in fleshly bodies. so yeah i do believe in spirits. yes u are also too close because there are heavenly spirits and satanic spirits ones that serve satan and those that serve GOD. ther eason they are referred to as spirits or ghosts as u called them is because we cant actually see them.

i believe in both , have seen both and studied both
and i have never had experience with bad spirits despite working with them for many years , nor do i know anyone else who has in the field of mediumship
we have a saying ... like attracts like
so staying possitive and working with good intentions only brings loving spirit
