I want to be able to tell if a girl is interested in me. What are some major signs besides flirting?

Some girls are completely obvious- They laugh at everything that you say, they stare at you, they chatter with their friends and then look at you and giggle.... Like I said, completely obvious.
As for me, however, if the guys that I liked looked for it, they would see these signs: I talk more softly and smoothly around them. I glance at them as long as they're not looking. I laugh a little more or even a little less when I'm around them. My smiles are either closed-mouthed or behind a hand. I play with my hair, wring my hands, cross my arms, or, basically, fiddle with something. I seem to look a little thinner and possibly taller or shorter when they're nearer (lol). I either glance around when they talk to me (almost nervously), pick out something else that I have reason to be looking at (so that I'm not rude), or I stare straight into their eyes. I smile at them a little when they smile at me, and if they look at me and don't smile, I look away quickly as if I was never looking at them. I talk less, and my words are obviously chosen very carefully. I apologize a lot, and I NEVER forget my manners. I'll always offer favors, even if they seem unbelievable. I'll change routes just to run into them. Most importantly, if I am not looking at them, I'm probably looking sad, but occassionally I'll get a little smile, as if I'm dreaming, but it will soon disappear.
Not saying that I should ever get a guy- because I shouldn't, really- but look for these girls. You do not want a girl that truly flirts, except maybe with her boyfriend. I used to be completely obvious, and nothing went right with that. You want a girl who probably wants you to make the first move, because then you know that she's respectable, wise, and if you get her, she will most likely always be yours.

If you have to ask, then she doesn't like you like you think. If a girl really likes you, you'll know it. She'll give you attention of some kind. You walk by strangers everyday oblivious to their existence. Nobody pays you any attention nor do you pay any of these people attention. So the few that stick out and actually acknowledge your existence - may be interested in you on some level. Just ask her out - if she passes, you've lost nothing.

It is different with different girls-some get scared and shy and some are all over the guy.

Smiling, waving, purposely turning her head away from you, picking on you, Talking constantly, running away from you in hot topic, almost puking in front of you :) :) :)
