i had the stomach flu. then my mom got it. now my brothers have it. they have the same symptoms. can i possibly get sick. one of them kissed me on the cheek. but people say your body is immune to it and will recongnize it. is this true? will i get sick?

The word "flu" suggests that it was caused by a virus...do you know this to be the case?

If it is indeed viral in nature, your body should have made antibodies to protect it from it effects.

If it was not viral, it may have been bacterial. Can one person pass bacteria to another by a kiss on the cheek? Not likely, but I suppose if one's immune response is compromised enough, it can happen.

If it is the same flu virus, then you are probably fairly safe. Some things you can get again.
