i'm in jr. high and i like this guy whose a year younger than me. the thing is that he will talk to me but he wont go out with me because he thinks i'm ugly. i know he is being shallow and i know i should move on a forget him but i like him too much. I need to get him to try to get to know me, but how? what should i do?

Did he say to you that he thinks your ugly? If he did, then he's not worth it if he's going to be that shallow and say it to your face. If he didnt say that, then you should try to talk to him somehow. Maybe through a mutual friend or something. Good luck!

Well, if he won't go out with you because he thinks you are ugly, don't even try anymore because he is shallow and thinks looks come before your personality. You can find better.

well noone is ugly. so maybe you should try changing a little bit at a time. maybe start with nails.then hair and so on.but i think you should maybe date a guy who might get him jelouse of that dude. but that might be cruel to that other guy

try to talk to him when u have a chance, when u do start a conversation...ask what he likes to do??..and try convincing that look is not everything..its what inside a person that counts not the way they look :D good luck
