You need to be very, very careful. Why? People like to feel good about themselves. You are making him feel good by showing him attention which he never intends to return. He may even encourage you with a smile or a charming word here and there that gives you hope that you know he at least likes you...and keeps you hanging in there. Girlfriend, you need to walk away...and get self-confidence. Men are totally into girls who are secure with themselves. When he walks by, be sure to smile and continue talking to your friends. The very worst thing you can do is gawk at him or tell someone to tell him you lliikkee him. Clearly...where he is concerned...you will walk away with a broken heart now...but a broken ripped and shredded heart if you continue to pursue this boy in your mind.
Now, stand up straight, find a mirror and repeat as you look in the mirror, "I AM BEAUTIFUL. I AM ADORABLE. I LOVE MYSELF BECAUSE I AM BEAUTIFUL, ADORABLE AND GENEROUS OF HEART!!" Actually, you better do that several times a day each time you walk by the mirror! Good luck!

Millions of kids go through the issues of first attractions and emotions running high. Nothing new at all. First--at your age, there are insecurities and doubts about yourself...get over them---get some self confidence--you are you and you need to be proud of your individuality. Looks are important but if that is the only gauge of a person--then it is entirely wrong---there is way too much to consider about a person--NOT just looks. Boys are visual creatures--and they grow up to be the same way--but it is no reason for you to become a vain person---you eventually will understand that you want a man to like you for what you are in total--not just looks. You are dealing with a boy---a boy who is not just shallow but immature--probably not worth all the worry. So do not limit yourself to him at this time...he needs to grow up--and you need to concentrate on school and the rest will follow naturally. Good luck

I think he needs to go.... Never mind. You need to forget about that bad word, and move on. No guy should tell you he won't go out with you because he thinks you are ugly. There IS a guy who will like the complete you. He'll see what he is missing soon enough. Just forget about him, and find another guy.

You absolutely DO NOT let him get to know you, he thinks you're ugly now, but in high school, you will probably get AS HOT AS HELL and he's just going to regret it. I went through the exact same thing, and now I have that boy wrapped around my finger. He'll come around in a few years, they always do. ;)

Honey, are you listening to yourself. He thinks you're ugly... Iif you loved and appreciated yourself enough you would'nt stand to let anyone talk to you that way - and on top of that you still like him. Its called infatuation you don't like him, you just like what you see. I think you're a sweet girl so p'se don't put yourself down for a jerk like that, if he doesnt like you fine thats all well and good but it seems to me like you dont love yourself enough to realise that no one is better than you are. We were all created the same and never forget that beauty is skin deep its not whats on the outside but the inside. I don't know you but i love you and everyone who takes the time to respond loves you and p'se walk proud and don't let anyone steal your dignity. You have to first love and respect yourself before anyone else can, always remember that no one is better than you are. Stay sweet... :)

You need to really look at your self esteem. You should not be interested in anyone who is rude to you. Calling you ugly was very mean and you can find a guy wayyyyyyyyy better than that. Have more faith in your self girl.
