If you can afford it, Scarsdale is the best place to live. It has the best schools and highly intelligent, wonderful people.

Places to av??? What does that mean? I don't think there is a "best place" Rye and Bronxville are both great places. If you like nature or amusment park type rides, Rye has Marshlands Conservancy and Edith Read Wildlife Sancatury, and for the kids, Playland (has a beach on Long Island Sound and rides, shows). They are county parks so you can drive to them from where ever you settle. For a bit longer commute, but a little bit more rural (houses farther apart) try Chappaqua and Bedford Village.
